I saw that slideshow earlier. I’ll never understand why fur is fashionable. Of course, I say that when I have two pairs of leather shows!

The supposed allure of fur has always eluded me, too. And I confess that I do still have several pairs of leather shoes that predate my veganism — they’re generally too battered to give away, but not quite battered enough that I feel it would be okay to throw them out. All new shoes, though, are definitely cruelty-free. (I was going to link to the heels I want to get for the winter meeting, assuming I get to go, but it looks as if Mooshoes.com’s domain has expired! Yipe!)
