Verbosity of a vegan geekgoth editor. I spend all day cutting out unnecessary wordiness; don't expect me to be succinct here.

Depending on how long my determination lasts, it may turn out to be more of a rag trivet or very thick potholder. That's about its size right now, if you coil it up and make the braid lie flat. Eh. At least it keeps me off the streets.

A rag rug is so neat. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Isn't it a pain to remember to check back on comments!

Naps are of the good, definitely. One of my favorite weekend pastimes. Oddly enough, I neglected to take one today. After getting home from Sevananda, I snuggled down on the futon with the dog and my copy of Bust, thinking I'd read until I got sleepy, but I never got so much as drowsy. Huh.

I also started making a rag rug out of a couple of old shirts. I got about six linear feet done in an hour and a half; two strands are black, and one is purple. We'll see whether I can keep up that pace; I've certainly got enough old clothes in my rag bag (too worn to donate, or even patch) to make quite a sizeable rug in black, purple, and burgundy. If I can, I'd like to make a runner for the kitchen, because the tile is rather hard on bare feet, but that may be too ambitious for a first project.

Lazy isn't bad. I've cleaned my office, took a nap, watched anime, took a nap.

Then, I met Mary and Rudy for a coke, and was energized enough by that to mow my lawn.

Now, I want to take a nap.
