There’s going to be a march on April 1, noon to 4:00, starting at the MLK Center. Anyone want to go with me? (I’ll check whether leashed dogs are allowed.)
Yay! I’ve e-mailed them to ask whether polite leashed dogs will be welcome, and hopefully they’ll say yes, so Nigel and Jazz can have an outing. I also posted a shot of the poster to Flickr. Any ideas of who else might be interested at the office? Cindy & Darren? Christi & Jarred (or is it Jared? I can never remember; sorry)? Jodi? Tim? David will be out of town, of course, and Mark will just roll his eyes. Anyone else?
We’ll have to have a black balloon, or one of purest octarine. :) (Sorry, Terry Pratchett reference. Can’t help myself.)
All good ideas — and thanks for the spelling correction. I’ll send out a little e-mail on Monday asking if they’d like to come. Maybe I’ll print out the photo of the flyer and stick it up on my cubicle wall, too; I kind of feel that political things, like religious things, aren’t quite appropriate for posting in the break room, but putting it in my own personal space should be okay, don’t you think?
Am I wrong for being surprised that the Big Blue Balloon people will be marching so near the Big Purple Balloon people?
Can we have our own Big Balloon color or do we have to glom on to the lucky “we already have a balloon” people?
Either way, I’m in. :)

I think he spells his name “Jarrett.” I know it ends in a “t.”
Greg and Kimm? Patricia?
I was thinking of a black balloon, too. :)
If Tim goes, Jodi definitely will go.
What about Julie?

Personal space is fine. I agree the break room bulletin board should be religion/politics free.
