Either that, or exchange only handmade, homemade things, and spend whatever money you would've spent on (possibly unwelcome) gifts on things for yourself, or charity, or paying off your credit cards, or whatever. It would cut down on stress for everyone, reduce needless spending, and make white elephants an endangered species -- one species I'm actually in favor of wiping out. Three of my DVDs went missing in the mail. All you have to do is fill out a short form at Netflix. It's no big. I hope you get the Xmas event sorted out.
